Announcement - July 27th, 2007 Focal Point welcomes Charlie Hellebusch, MS CCS

Charlie brings more than 40 years of direct client experience in

substance abuse and family counseling to Focal Point. He holds

a Masters degree in Sociology from Eastern Kentucky University,

and is a Certified Clinical Sociologist. One area of special interest

and training for Charlie is Internet and Video Game Addiction.

Currently accepting new clients with appointments available

Monday - Saturday beginning August 1st, 2007. Please call our

main office at 625-6448 to schedule a time to meet with Charlie.

Announcement -July 31st, 2007 Focal Point sponsors local High School football.

Focal Point Professional Services, LLC will co-sponsor the radio broadcasts of four Baldwin County High School Football teams for the 2007 season. Partnering with radio station WNSI, Spanish Fort, AM 100 and FM 105.9, Focal Point will host broadcasts for The Spanish Fort Toros, Daphne High School Trojans, as well as Robertsdale High School and Escambia County High School.

Please be sure to listen in each Friday evening, and to catch the re-broadcast each Saturday morning.

Announcement 12/17/07 New location purchased, renovations to start in February 2008.

Focal Point Professional Services, LLC in a cooperative agreement with SREM, LLC has purchased the property formerly known a High Point Marine, located at 6642 Park Drive in Daphne. The property will be vacated by the end of 2007, and plans for renovated will be complete by the Spring of 2008. Upon completion, Focal Point will occupy a portion of the property, with future plans for additions of health care related services within the facility.

Renovation of New Facility

Bids have been approved and renovation has started on the new location at 6442 Park Rd. Keep an eye on our progress. The renovation of the property formerly known a High Point Marine should dramatically improve the appearance and aesthetics of the area.

5/10/08 Focal Point welcomes Shelley Collins, MS ALC

6/12/08 - Focal Point expands staff

In anticipation for occupancy of our new facility, Focal Point Professional Services has accepted the affiliation of three new Counselors. This addition will bring the total staff of Focal Point to capacity with 6 licensed professionals. The mix of staff will include at bilingual therapist (Spanish), and two certified A&D specialists. The most recent additions to our staff include the following therapists.

Richard M Rodriguez, M.A. N.C.C. - contact rrodriguez@focalpointps.com Richard is fluent in Spanish and brings a wealth of experience to our agency. He and his wife Joni recently moved to Alabama from Arizona. Both are in the process of transferring their licenses to this State, and will be available to accept clients very soon.

Joni Rodriguez, M.A. L.P.C. - contact jrodriguez@focalpointps.com Joni is licensed in the State of Arizona as a professional counselor, and has applied for reciprocity in Alabama. She is an experienced therapist, with an wide range of experience working with families and individuals. Joni will be available for appointments after 6/15/08. Ellen Hanna, LPC - contact ehanna@focalpointps.com Ellen is a Licensed Counselor in Alabama, and is also holds a license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California and is a licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in Texas. Ellen is an innovative therapist, and is willing to provide services after normal hours office hours if needed. Watch for her full bio here.
