Insurance

Focal Point accepts all insurance policies that have specific payment plans for mental health services. Not all medical health care plans pay for psychiatric services. Verifcation of coverage prior to receiving treatment is the responsibility of the patient.

The total cost for all services is the responsibility of the patient. We request that all services be paid in full when received, and that you file for reimbursement from your insurance company. Focal Point uses an electronic billing system, and will file your claims for you if your carrier accepts electronic filing. (most do) Please coordinate all

The office staff of Focal Point will assist you in receiving reimbursement from your provider, and may file your claim for you electronically as a courtesy. Please be aware that many insurance companies do not pay for counseling. Please state your intention to use insurance proior to receiving services. Please insure that your provider will provide reimbursement for a LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR (LPC) prior to entering therapy.
