The typical AD/HD assessment process will include a minimum of the following services:
· Two visits, one of which must be before 11:00AM (for CPT testing) · Clinical interview with the patient and family to complete a medical, social and psychological history. · Standardized behavioral screenings for AD/HD symptoms completed by patient, parents, spouses and teachers. · TOVA Computerized Performance Testing for a baseline. · Challenge testing with medication when indicated, and medication titration testing. · PADDS testing for ages 6-11 · Drug Screening (where applicable) · Consult with the treatment team if indicated. Note - Additional services provided by others such as IQ testing, consultation, sleep studies, and a medical exam may be recommended.
After the assessment is complete the results will be discussed with you, and a complete report will be furnished to the Physician that you authorize. You will then meet with your Physician to determine what treatment options are best suited for your individual needs. For school aged children, parents will also receive individualized intervention recommendations specifically targeting school and home environments.
